As the former Head of Sustainability for the Atlanta Hawks & State Farm Arena, I established the NBA’s first executive-level sustainability role and led the arena to become the world’s first TRUE (Total Resource Use & Efficiency) Platinum–certified sports & entertainment venue. Since 2021, we’ve diverted over 10 million pounds of waste across 600+ events, consistently maintaining 90%+ diversion—setting a new global benchmark for circular venue operations.
